Maddie Marlow and Taylor Kerr, best friends and duet partners in Maddie & Tae, are now navigating the joys of raising children together.
Kerr welcomed her daughter Leighton in January 2022, while Marlow's son Forrest was born in September 2023.
Recently, Kerr shared the exciting news that her family is expanding once again.
She posted a photo of herself with her husband, Josh Kerr, and their daughter Leighton holding sonogram photos, announcing on Instagram: “Baby BOY joining @taylordye and @joshkerrmusic this fall.”
Marlow and Kerr are not alone in this new chapter of life. Fellow country stars Summer Pardi, RaeLynn, Katelyn Brown, and Makenzie Porter also have children around the same ages as Maddie & Tae's little ones.
Balancing the demands of the music industry with the desire for stability while raising children is a challenge they all share. During CMA Fest, Makenzie Porter mentioned how this shared experience brought them closer.
“Once I got pregnant, RaeLynn, Maddie & Tae, all these girls who have done it reached out,” Porter said. “They told me, when you have the baby, hit me up. We’ll tell you how we toured, breastfed on the road, and managed all these things.”
“It really is this beautiful little squad of women supporting each other through a big transition of life,” she added.
