The Host

Hey I'm Matt Clewes, host and founder of Clewes' Country. When I began this show back in 2021, it was a complete blank canvas for what this show could become. As someone who always liked Country music, I just wanted to enjoy it and quickly it has become my whole life and I don't know what I would do without it.

All I want to do is showcase amazing Country music as there is so much out there to love and there is also so much out there, you just don't know it. My passion is supporting independent artists not only in the UK, but this has rapidly spread to those across the pond in the US and Canada, but also stretching beyond to our friends Down Under and more.

We're now not only a Radio Show which is available on Southampton's Voice FM and Mixcloud, but also a Podcast named The Country Catch-Up.

In 2023, we launched Clewes' Country Presents with our first LIVE show in Blackpool's Cowboy & Co and we aim to take Country music to as many corners of the UK as possible.
