Riley Green joins Nashville bar scene, but not Broadway

Riley Green is reportedly set to join the ranks of country stars with their own bars, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

The "Different ‘Round Here" singer has filed a building sign permit for Riley Green’s Duck Blind at 1913 Division Street in Midtown, Nashville—the current location of Winners Bar & Grill.

Green is partnering with the Nashville-based company Sign Me Up for the bar's signature neon signs.

Earlier this year, the owners of Winners Bar & Grill announced plans for a "facelift" of the venue, which is expected to reopen later this year.

While representatives for Green have declined to comment, he is no stranger to the area, having performed at the adjacent Losers bar just last week.

If the reports are accurate, Green will join Old Dominion as a bar owner in Midtown, a popular Nashville area.

Other country stars, including Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Morgan Wallen, have opened bars on the nearby Broadway strip.

In addition to his Nashville ventures, Riley Green is set to make his Australian debut this November, headlining the second edition of the Ridin’ Hearts festival in Sydney (Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday, November 2) and Melbourne (Caribbean Gardens on Sunday, November 3).
