Reba, Jelly Roll & Tim McGraw to play first Nashville Rodeo

The Music City Rodeo is making history this spring, bringing Nashville’s first-ever Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association (PRCA) event to Bridgestone Arena from May 29-31.

Presented by Tim McGraw’s Down Home, in partnership with Skydance Media and Humes Rodeo, this three-day rodeo extravaganza will feature world-class cowboys and cowgirls competing in seven thrilling events, including bull riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, and team roping—all battling for over $200,000 in prize money.

The rodeo experience will be more than just competition, with family-friendly entertainment such as mutton bustin’, rodeo clowns, and Rodeo Queens, leading up to a headline concert each night.

Founding members of Music City Rodeo—Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, and Jelly Roll—will take center stage to deliver electrifying performances.

Bringing Rodeo Home to Nashville

“For eight decades, Nashville’s music stars have been the soundtrack to America’s iconic rodeos—country music and rodeo go hand in hand,” says McGraw.

“So, it was time to bring the magic of rodeo home to Nashville, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

McEntire adds, “Rodeo is in my blood, and I’m excited to help start a new tradition in Nashville. Country music and rodeo in Music City—what a perfect match. I knew I had to be part of it.”

For Jelly Roll, the event carries a special significance. “As a Nashville native, this feels like a historic moment for the city.

"I remember when we got the Predators, when the Titans came to town, and I watched Bridgestone Arena being built. Headlining the first rodeo in my hometown? That’s another milestone, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

Giving Back to the Community

Beyond the rodeo action and concerts, Music City Rodeo is committed to supporting the local community.

A portion of proceeds will benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, helping to provide world-class pediatric care and research for children and families in need.
