Parker McCollum & Hallie Ray welcome first child

Parker McCollum and his wife, Hallie Ray, are now proud parents of a baby boy, born on Thursday, August 8.

The couple shared the happy news on social media, revealing their son's name: Major Yancey Tyler McCollum.

Their announcement featured a series of heartwarming photos: the new parents holding their son in the hospital, the family of three at home, and Parker introducing their dog, Ruger, to the newest member of the family.

Parker also posted a touching moment on his Instagram Stories, capturing him gazing lovingly at his newborn son.

The "Burn It Down" singer and Hallie Ray first announced they were expecting in February. In a beautiful photo, the couple shared a kiss by the pool at sunset, with Hallie Ray cradling her baby bump.

Parker and Hallie Ray were married on March 28, 2022. He proposed in July 2021, a moment he eagerly anticipated. "I couldn't wait to ask her to marry me," Parker shared with People at the time.

"There was no backup plan or hesitation. I knew she was the one."

Reflecting on their relationship, Parker added, "There was no doubt in my mind that I was making the right decision. She saved my life in a way, and I don't think I was headed down the right road before her."

Parker has been candid about his past struggles with substance abuse, which he even addresses in his song "Rest of My Life" from his debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy.
