Luke Bryan, the five-time Entertainer of the Year with over 24 billion global streams, is set to release his eighth studio album, Mind Of A Country Boy, on September 27, 2024.
This 14-track album was produced by the dynamic father-son duo, Jeff and Jody Stevens, and features previously released singles like "Love You, Miss You, Mean It," "But I Got A Beer In My Hand," "Country On," and "Southern and Slow," as well as his brand-new single, "Closing Time In California."
It's been four years since Luke's last album, and Mind Of A Country Boy represents the culmination of a career steeped in country music, combined with his love for the hunting, fishing, and living-everyday lifestyle of his fans, all while keeping his family as a top priority.
"I've had the luxury of taking my time to carefully select songs for this album," Luke shared. "If I recorded a song two or three years ago and it still resonates with me, I believe it will stand the test of time."
He continued, "I think this album, like all my others, offers a bit of everything. I've experimented with some new vocal techniques that I haven't tried before.
Each song has its own place and meaning, and I've aimed to avoid redundancy. That's one reason I've been fortunate to have a long career, and I believe this album will contribute to that legacy."
Touring and connecting with fans through live performances remains Luke's favorite part of his career. He's known for his iconic concert events, from the massive 'Spring Break' concerts that drew over 200,000 fans to Florida's beaches, to 15 years of Farm Tour, and the popular 'Crash My Playa' destination concert in Mexico, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary next January.
His headline tours have attracted over 14 million fans.
"I'm still having a blast during my concerts—it's always a big party," Luke said. "But as you get older, your perspective changes, and so do the themes in your music.
However, the passion for finding the perfect song that resonates with people remains at the heart of what I do as an artist."
Luke's current single, "Love You, Miss You, Mean It," is rapidly climbing the charts. Music Row’s Bob Oermann praised the track early on, calling it "written with panache and hooks a-plenty" and "definitely hit-bound."
