Bell Bottoms Up is open for business

Since rolling into Music City, Lainey Wilson, the reigning Entertainer of the Year for both the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association, has quickly made her mark.

It took her about the same time it took Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean to have their names placed on a TC Restaurant Group-operated Lower Broadway mega-honkytonk after releasing their debut albums.

Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up is now open at 120 3rd Ave. S, the former site of Florida Georgia Line's FGL House. The venue features a mirrored pair of bell-bottomed pants and cowboy boots hanging above a spacious rooftop dance floor where a swamp-rocking band or high-energy DJ will play peak-hour party records for fans enjoying frozen cocktails.

The 27,000-square-foot, three-story venue includes a Western disco-themed rooftop, two stages, and four bars.

Amanda Nava, Director of Marketing for TC Restaurant Group, oversees several other venues including Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Luke Bryan's Luke's 32 Bridge, Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, and the Sun Records-affiliated Sun Diner.

Similar to other TC Restaurant Group locations, upon entry, visitors to Wilson's bar will find a downscaled version of a Wilson concert stage with live bands playing seven days a week.

The second floor offers a more intimate Western lounge vibe, complete with cowhide rugs.

While it's possible Wilson might occasionally perform at her bar, her packed schedule of concerts and festival appearances through Thanksgiving 2024 makes frequent appearances unlikely. However, fans can find her influence throughout the venue.

Her outfits from the 2023 CMA and People's Choice Awards, 2024 CMT Music Awards, Houston Rodeo, and other events are displayed in glass shadow boxes around the bar and restaurant.

Wilson's touch is also evident in the bar and restaurant menus. Upon entering Bell Bottoms Up, guests are greeted by a bar serving drinks inspired by Wilson's Louisiana roots, her acting role on Yellowstone, and the "Road Runner."

One unique drink, the "Road Runner," combines a Wilson album-track title with a chart-topping hit of hers, featuring Gatlinburg's Ole Smoky Distillery's 40-proof Sour Watermelon Moonshine, Red Bull's watermelon-flavored energy drink, cucumber, lemon, and a sprig of sage.
