Morgan Wallen’s latest single, “Love Somebody,” has taken the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, debuting at the top on 11 global charts simultaneously.
This marks Wallen’s first solo debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and his ninth overall No. 1, along with his sixth record-setting No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
“Love Somebody” is now his third single to hit No. 1 on both charts at once, breaking the previous record held by Glen Campbell, John Denver, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, and Taylor Swift, each with two dual-chart-topping songs.
Written by Wallen, John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv, and Ryan Vojtesak, and produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome, “Love Somebody” also received a live music video release last Thursday (Oct. 24), featuring a performance at Neyland Stadium.
