Morgan Wallen has donated $500,000 to the Red Cross through his Morgan Wallen Foundation to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts in his home region of East Tennessee.
"My family in East Tennessee is safe, but I know many others are facing absolute devastation both there and in several other states," Wallen shared in an Instagram story.
"This will require a massive recovery effort, and I’m working with my team and others to find ways to help."
Red Cross National President for Humanitarian Services, Trevor Riggin, expressed gratitude, saying, "We can’t thank Morgan Wallen enough for his generosity.
"His $500,000 donation will provide critical support to those impacted by Hurricane Helene, including in his cherished East Tennessee."
Hurricane Helene, according to CNN, ranks as one of the deadliest storms to hit the mainland U.S. in the past 50 years.
The hurricane has claimed at least 130 lives across six states—North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia—with many more still unaccounted for.
