Megan Moroney ushers in the holiday season with her surprise EP, Blue Christmas …duh, featuring two original holiday songs and a fresh take on the classic “Blue Christmas.”
Drawing inspiration from the signature colour of her hit sophomore album, Am I Okay?, the EP kicks off with the upbeat “All I Want for Christmas is a Cowboy.”
Written by Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Micah Carpenter, this hip-swaying track brings festive honky-tonk vibes as Moroney reveals her ultimate Christmas wish.
The EP also includes “Christmas Morning,” a tender, slow-burning addition to country music’s rich catalog of holiday heartbreak songs, and wraps up with Moroney’s rendition of “Blue Christmas.”
Each track is accompanied by a custom lyric video to add to the festive experience.
Blue Christmas …duh follows the deluxe edition release of Am I Okay? (I’ll Be Fine), which recently topped Apple Music’s Top Country Albums chart and climbed to No. 3 on their all-genre chart.
The deluxe version includes three new tracks: “Bless Your Heart,” “I’ll Be Fine,” and “Break It Right Back,” a piano-driven ballad that hit over a million streams on its first day of release.
