Gabby Barrett is kicking off the holiday season early with the announcement of her new Christmas album, Carols and Candlelight.
The "I Hope" singer shared the exciting news on social media, revealing the album's cover art and giving fans a sneak peek of her rendition of "I'll Be Home for Christmas."
"If you know me, you know Christmas is my FAVOURITE time of year," Barrett wrote in her post. "I know Halloween is coming up, but my heart is already in HOLIDAY MODE!"
Fans won't have to wait until after Halloween to get into the festive spirit. Barrett's version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" will be available this Friday (Oct. 25), with the full album following next month.
Her rendition of the classic holiday song blends multiple styles, featuring jazzy rhythms and a strong piano line that appeals to both pop and Christian music audiences, while still keeping a hint of her country roots in the vocals.
Barrett, who has always incorporated her faith into her music, continues to balance her country sound with Christian influences, as she's done in her past albums.
Carols and Candlelight will be released on Nov. 8, but fans can pre-save and pre-order it now.
