Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) is proud to announce Eric Church and Luke Combs as co-recipients of the prestigious CRS 2025 Artist Humanitarian Award.

This honour will be presented during the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) on Friday, February 21, 2025, in Nashville.
This year’s award recognises the extraordinary efforts of Church and Combs, who raised over $24 million in less than a month.
Their achievement was anchored by an October 26 stadium concert in Charlotte, which drew a record-breaking 82,000 fans.
Incredibly, this massive event—usually requiring more than a year of planning—was organized by their teams in just 28 days.
Eric Church has been a force for change through his nonprofit, Chief Cares, which announced plans to build 100 homes for hurricane victims in North Carolina’s Avery County.
These homes aim to provide shelter for families affected by Hurricane Helene, while also addressing long-term recovery efforts such as job creation, school rebuilding, and local business support.
Furthermore, Church pledged all publishing royalties from his latest release, Darkest Hour, to benefit the people of North Carolina.
Luke Combs, alongside his team, has channeled their efforts into direct support for North Carolina-based relief organizations, ensuring funds reach those in need.
His contributions have bolstered organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, providing essential resources for communities affected by the hurricane.
CRB Awards Committee Chair Beverlee Brannigan shared her admiration, stating: “Eric Church and Luke Combs’ love for their home state is nothing short of inspiring.
Their swift and impactful response to Hurricane Helene, paired with their ongoing efforts, underscores their compassion and unwavering commitment to the people of North Carolina. We are honored to recognize their extraordinary contributions with this award.”
Established in 1990, the CRB Artist Humanitarian Award honors country artists whose philanthropic efforts have significantly improved the causes they support.
Past honourees include Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood, among others.
