The “Concert For Carolina” took place last Saturday night (Oct. 26) at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, drawing a record-breaking crowd of 82,193 in-person attendees and 7.1 million Veeps livestream viewers globally.
The event raised a remarkable $24,513,185 to support Hurricane Helene relief efforts.
North Carolina’s own Luke Combs, Eric Church, and James Taylor headlined the benefit concert alongside Billy Strings, with additional performances by Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Bailey Zimmerman, The Avett Brothers, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice, Parmalee, and Wesko. ESPN’s Marty Smith and Barstool Sports’ Caleb Pressley hosted the evening, which also featured special appearances by Nicole Kidman and Randy Travis.
The fundraising efforts continue with a live silent auction offering exclusive items, including a signed guitar and shirt used by Combs at the concert, a meet-and-greet with Church, signed memorabilia from NFL, NBA, NCAA, and NASCAR stars, autographed instruments, concert and game tickets, artwork, Yeti coolers, and more.
Proceeds from the concert, livestream, and auction will be directed to organizations selected by Combs and Church, including Samaritan’s Purse, Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, Eblen Charities, and Chief Cares.
This large-scale benefit was made possible thanks to support from David and Nicole Tepper, Tepper Sports & Entertainment, Explore Asheville, Biltmore Estate, T-Mobile, Jack Daniel’s, Whataburger, Miller Lite, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Belk, Lowe’s, Atrium Health, Tractor Supply Company, Bank of America, American Airlines, Food Lion, Duke’s Mayo, GE Aerospace, Harris Teeter, Pinnacle Financial Partners, United Healthcare, Bud Light, Preferred Parking, Gildan, and AshBritt.
