Toby Keith's life and career will be celebrated with an all-star tribute concert in Nashville this July. Titled Toby Keith: American Icon, the event will air on NBC in August.
The concert will feature performances by top country artists including Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Darius Rucker, The War and Treaty, and more. It will take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on July 29.
The tribute show will be broadcast in a two-hour special on NBC on August 28 at 8 PM ET.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit Keith's OK Kids Korral, which provides free housing for families of children facing critical illnesses through the Toby Keith Foundation.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will support the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Tickets for the Toby Keith: American Icon tribute concert will go on sale on Friday, June 28, at 10 AM CT via Ticketmaster.
There has been no announcement yet on which songs each artist will perform. Keith's most notable hits include "Who's That Man," "How Do You Like Me Now?!," "My List," "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue (The Angry American)," "American Soldier," and "As Good as I Once Was."
Toby Keith passed away on February 5, 2024, after a long battle with stomach cancer. He was 62 years old.
The country legend will be formally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame at a medallion ceremony in October.
