Post Malone is diving headfirst into the country music scene, and the star-studded lineup on his upcoming album F-1 Trillion proves it.
A leaked preorder listing for the album revealed a promo sticker announcing Malone’s impressive list of collaborators. The album will feature legends like Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, and Tim McGraw.
In addition to previously announced collaborations with Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen, the album will also include tracks with Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Sierra Ferrell, and Billy Strings. Wallen’s frequent collaborators Ernest and Hardy are also set to appear.
Post Malone has already proven his versatility as a genre chameleon. The rapper, known for hits like "White Iverson" and "Rockstar," has shown his range with covers of songs by Dwight Yoakam, Brad Paisley, and Sturgill Simpson.
Malone’s transition to country music is off to a strong start. He landed a country No. 1 hit with Hardy on their cover of Joe Diffie’s "Pickup Man." His duet with Morgan Wallen from F-1 Trillion, "I Had Some Help," recently spent six weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
Malone is clearly excited about his new direction. During a Twitch stream late last year, the Texas native shared that he couldn’t get his own songs out of his head.
