Post Malone has ventured into his country phase, garnering the ultimate endorsement after delivering a captivating performance at Stagecoach and surprising the audience by bringing Brad Paisley onstage on Saturday (April 27).
Paisley took to social media to express his support, declaring, "You belong here Posty," as he shared snapshots of their collaboration under the hashtag #thelostpaisley.
During his set, Malone delighted fans by covering a selection of beloved country tunes, ones close to his heart, and not only did he share the stage with Paisley but also welcomed Dwight Yoakam for a rendition of "Little Ways."
Additionally, the versatile artist paid homage to Alan Jackson with his rendition of "Chattahoochee."
The collaboration with Paisley at Stagecoach wasn't the first hint of Malone's interest in country music.
Previously, he set tongues wagging with his performance at the CMA Awards alongside Morgan Wallen and Hardy, where they paid tribute to the late Joe Diffie with a medley of his hits.
Teasing fans further, Malone shared studio snapshots with the likes of Wallen and Paisley, hinting at an impending country album.
This was later confirmed during a Twitch livestream in November, where he disclosed, "Country record is coming." He even offered a sneak peek of a track titled "I Had Some Help," featuring Wallen.
Though a release date for the song remains under wraps, a snippet of what seems to be the accompanying music video has surfaced online, depicting Malone and Wallen crooning from the bed of a truck.
