Miranda Lambert & more to play show for Dogs

Miranda Lambert will be joined by Hardy, Lukas Nelson, Jake Worthington, and special surprise guests for her "Music For Mutts" benefit concert, presented by Tractor Supply Co.

The event takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater.

The concert marks the 15th anniversary of Lambert's MuttNation Foundation, with proceeds supporting shelter pets nationwide through the nonprofit organisation.

“This event is incredibly special to me, and I’m grateful that the talented artists I invited—who are all passionate about animals—agreed to participate,” says Lambert.

“What makes it even more meaningful is the public dog adoption event right before the concert. If you’re thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, join us from 4–6 p.m.

"Everyone knows that when I’m not singing, I’m advocating for shelter pets, so you can expect a night full of music and heartfelt conversation. Hope to see y’all there!”

The adoption event will take place at Ascend Park, next to the amphitheater, with shelters such as Crossroads Campus, Metro Animal Care & Control, Nashville Humane, Nashville Pittie, Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, Wags & Walks, and Williamson County Animal Center participating.

Additionally, the Dog Aging Project will be onsite to share information on the interconnected aging processes of humans and animals. Fans can also sign up their dogs to take part in the project.
